Fasta Pasta. A 15-minute Pasta recipe with only 5 ingredients


🌱 The secret to this delicious pasta recipe is the king oyster mushrooms –  complex, nutritious, rich in antioxidants and delicate with a lovely, meaty texture. Combined with the beloved garlic and fresh parsley, you’ll obtain the perfect umami. These simple ingredients are all you need to obtain a perfect favour. Ready in max. 15 minutes!

🌱250 g linguini pasta

🌱300 g baby king oyster mushrooms

🌱4 garlic cloves

🌱5 Tbsp of olive oil

🌱Fresh parsley

🌱+ salt & pepper to taste

🌱Optional: vegan parmesan


  1. Shred the baby king oyster mushrooms into long, thin strips
  2. In a pan, add the olive oil and the mushrooms 
  3. Season with salt & pepper and cook the mushrooms until golden – brown
  4. Move the cooked mushrooms into a separate bowl for the moment and use the same pan to cook the minced garlic at medium-low heat, for it to unleash its flavours. (don’t wash the pan. It’s better for the garlic to take on the flavour from the mushrooms previously cooked there)
  5. In the meantime, boil the pasta in salty water (boil time according to the pasta label minus 1 minute)
  6. Put the cooked mushrooms back in the pan, over the garlic, then add 40 – 50 ml of pasta water
  7. Add a handful of fresh chopped parsely
  8. Add the pasta over the composition and mix well

🌱 To serve:

Sprinkle some fresh chopped parsley & vegan parmesan on top for a perfect serve.
